‘Tis the season! Stock up on food-shopping Scrip (grocery stores, HoneyBaked Ham, Krispy Kreme), as well as get those gift cards wrapped up for family members and friends for the upcoming holidays. (Select gift card envelopes will be available for the holidays.)
You’re (likely) already entered to win a vacation on Orcas Island! For every $25 of Scrip your family buys, or has bought so far, you get an entry into a drawing to win a weekend at a family vacation home on beautiful Orcas Island in Washington!! The drawing will be held after the May Scrip ordering period – just in time to plan your 2008 getaway!
Share the Scrip… An easy way for grandparents and other relatives to support your child’s activities at the Co-op is to invite them to purchase Scrip through you regularly. Many grandparents have started purchasing grocery-store and gift-card Scrip; all you have to do is coordinate the order and everybody wins. (Plus, you increase your chances of winning the Orcas Island vacation prize: If two sets of grandparents order $100 of Scrip a month through you, you increase your drawing entries by eight each time!)
Take note: School is on a shortened calendar, so this order period is shorter, too. This (November) order form is due Friday, November 2! You will receive your Scrip the week of November 12th. To accommodate the December school schedule and holiday shopping, the December order will be due November 30 and will be delivered at the Winter Craft Fair on December 8th and during the week of December 10th.
For the months of November and December, we will have an expanded selection of stock Scrip for sale (including at the Winter Craft Fair). Look for announcements on the bulletin board or in your emailbox, or ask a Scrip Coordinator.
